A gift shop, run quietly.

landman.store is a small gift shop run by the same people who run landman.directory. We make mugs, tees, and stickers for the people who work in oil and gas land — the people who pull runsheets, find heirs, sit in county clerks' offices, and keep entire wells producing because they got the title right.

We started this because nobody else had. The closest thing to a "gift for a landman" on the open internet is a generic geology mug or a roughneck t-shirt — neither of which lands. A landman is not a geologist and not a roughneck. A landman is someone whose family has stopped asking what they do for a living because the answer is too long.

We thought there should be a place where a landman could buy a coffee mug that doesn't have to be explained. So we made one.

How it actually runs

There are no employees. There is no warehouse. There is no second office. When you place an order, a U.S. print partner makes the item, packs it, and ships it. We mostly just write the jokes and answer the email.

The site is built and run in-house — no Shopify subscription, no marketplace fees. We pay for hosting and for the AI that helps us run things. That's about it.

What we won't do

  • We won't print a design we don't think is funny.
  • We won't carry inventory or open a warehouse.
  • We won't use AI-generated landman jokes that miss the inside joke.
  • We won't sell your data. We don't have anything interesting to sell.

Sibling property

If you came here looking for an actual landman, that's landman.directory — the directory of land professionals across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and beyond. The store and the directory are two sides of the same idea: that the term "landman" deserves real estate on the open web, and that nobody else is going to defend it but us.
